Romain Langasque, Golf Ambassador of Heritage Golf Club, selected for the Tokyo Olympics

Heritage Resorts is delighted to announce that Romain Langasque, its Golf Ambassador has been selected for the Tokyo Olympic Games.

 

Romain Langasque will accompany Antoine Rozner within the French Olympic delegation during the games which will take place at the Kasumigaseki Country Club from July 29 to August 1, 2024. “This is great news for the Olympic Games. I am very happy and proud to represent my country, France, in Tokyo this summer. I will do my best to represent our country at the highest level and reach the highest step of the podium. I will also bring a part of my “Heritage heart” to Tokyo and represent the Resort as it should be.” he said.

 

More than a partner, Romain is considered as a full-fledged member of the Heritage Resorts family.
Commenting this great news, Jonathan Menteath, General Manager of Heritage Golf Club has said: “We were so proud when we heard the news! It is a great honour being associates with such a good player. We are truly confident about his capacities and send him all our support for the competition!”

 

Passionate player, Romain discovered golf at the age of 2, thanks to his father, and made his first par at the age of 4 on the St Donat compact, Grasse, France. He got his first ranking at 5 and a half years old and immediately became addicted to this fabulous sport! He naturally pursued his training at the St Donat golf course in Grasse with his coach Philippe Larvaron until he was 13. This talented man now devote himself entirely to his passion at the Pôle France in Terre Blanche with Renaud Gris and his coach Benoit Ducoulombier.

 

After an incredible victory at the British Amateur at Carnoustie, he concluded his amateur career with a cut at the British Open at St Andrews (69th}, a magnificent second place on the Challenge Tour in South Africa and a 39th place at the Augusta Master!

Heritage Golf Club an incomparable golf experience

After his great performance at the Afrasia Bank Mauritius Open (ABMO) in 2017, where he ranked 2nd. Romain became the official ambassador of Heritage Golf Club since 2018. Heritage Resorts has always been devoted to offer a unique golf experience and has welcomed several golf competitions such as the ABMO. As a matter of fact, Heritage the Golf Club has been awarded 7 times as the “Best Golf Course of the Indian Ocean”, being an incredible asset of Heritage Resorts.
