Heritage Resorts is the high-end hotel brand of the Mauritian group, Veranda Leisure & Hospitality, which has shared its passion and the typical Mauritian hospitality with tourists staying in its hotels for 30 years now.
Veranda Leisure & Hospitality (VLH) is now a firmly established name in the hotel landscape of Mauritius. Its operations started in 1982 with the launch of a new hotel concept and the creation of the Veranda Bungalow Village, in Grand Bay, in the north of the island.
Following the amazing success of the Veranda Bungalow Village, the adventure continued with the acquisition of other hotels along the northern and eastern coasts of Mauritius. In the span of 20 years, what started as a small family business turned into a truly Mauritian hotel group, which currently owns 6 establishments including four charming hotels and two five-star resorts for a total of 686 rooms.
The group opened its first luxury resort, the Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort, in Bel Ombre in 2004. In January 2009, it acquired the hotel next door, now known as the Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort, a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
VLH is the Hotel sector of the Mauritian conglomerate, Rogers and operates in two distinct yet complementary lines of business. The Hospitality segment comprises the Heritage Resorts brand including the group’s high-end establishments (Heritage Awali Golf & Spa Resort and Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort) and Heritage The Villas. For its part, Veranda Resorts is the umbrella brand for the charming hotels owned by VLH. The Leisure line of business complements the hotel offering, mainly on the Domaine de Bel Ombre with the management of Le Château de Bel Ombre, the Heritage Golf Club and the C Beach Club.
Established in 2004 by VLH, Seven Colours Spa & Cosmetics is the premier Mauritian brand of spas and cosmetics with a presence in all the hotels of the group.
